May 22, 2018 was the day Benji Eames took this giant chocolate boar in Southern Utah. But his success came only after applying for 12 years, hunting hard for 19 days, chasing and passing on several smaller bears, and passing up different bears. Benji said, “I especially want to thank my wife for putting up with all my hunting obsessions every year, my brother for all his hard work from him and his dogs. Also a special thanks to Doyle, Russ and Alan with Mossback Outfitters with their exceptional dogs.” After the 60-day drying period, Rusty Hall officially scored this bear at 20 1/8.
